1st meeting of the Guided
Committee for NBC (BDC-64) held on
17th July 1967 under chairmanship
of Maj. Gen. Harkirat Singh, Advisor,
Construction, Planning commission.
NBC of India 1970 was inaugurated
on 22nd Dec 1970. Under the
president ship of Dr. K. L Rao, Union
Minister for irrigation and Power and
Chairman of the Civil engineering
Division Council of ISI.
50 years on, the NBC has been published in 2016 completely new format for implementation of NBC, The Code was
released by the Hon’ble Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Shri Ram Vilas Paswan.
