The genesis of ISI mark

Hon'ble Dr. S. P. Mookerjee, the then Minister for Industry and Supply
inaugurating the Chemical Division Council of the Indian Standards
Institution, in Delhi on 30 Sep 1948. The CDC Secretariat was also the
secretariat for ISO Committee for Shellac.
